Master class with Ricardo Foster Jr.

Born and raised in Boston, Ricardo has been involved with the entertainment industry for over 25 years. Using his talents as a dancer, choreographer, actor, comedian, and model, he has single-handedly made a name for himself amongst many of today’s popular artists. Working and performing on stage with artists ranging from Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Usher, Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Shaggy to old school classics like Naughty by Nature, Wu-Tang clan, RUN DMC to name a few. He also had work featured on; Sesame Street, Entertainment tonight, Celtic halftime shows; television commercials for Marshalls, McDonald’s, Bank of America; music videos for LFO, JoJo and the Microsoft Xbox video game franchise “Dance Central” as well as Border- lands: The Pre-Sequel. With his involvement and accolades received and recognized in the in- dustry, and his work being showcased on different platforms of entertainment, Ricardo has be- come a world renowned choreographer, devoted dance teacher at Dean College.

Now, Ricardo has been focusing his talents in ventures dealing with education and live perfor- mances. Teaching and training vocal artists, guest choreographing for major dance companies, leading workshops, master classes, and lectures on the performing arts. He is also producing on-stage performances, events, and theatrical shows through his company Unyted Stylz Productions. He has fashioned Unyted Stylz to be an entertainment umbrella housing performers, teachers, dancers, and dance groups of different disciplines, styles, and backgrounds to help enrich and broaden the dance community.

With an outstanding personality, he has a way with audiences, students, and his peers alike. By using comedy, simple physical analogies, and a story-like premise behind all of his dance movements, he looks to have people understand and enjoy his performances, choreography, and classes while trying to help them find a new appreciation and love of dance and them- selves. Known as a master teacher, an exceptional performer, and an international choreogra- pher Ricardo strives to live up to the standard of “.....not necessarily being the best, just every- one’s personal favorite.”


A master class open to public. Encompassing hip hop, jazz, and ballet. Company dancers are required to take the master class in preparation for the audition, August 20' 2017. $45.00 per student for master class. $25.00 additional for company dancers.
