Meet savannah lee at 4 years old!

Savannah started ballet when she was 4 years old. Her love for it started after checking out her favorite VHS “I Want to Be a Ballerina” every single time she visited the library since she was 2 years old! She begged as a toddler to start ballet everyday and her mom finally gave in. She was very quiet, shy and didn’t speak much so this was an incredible outlet where she felt seen, had a wonderful place to use her imagination and build her confidence.

She trained with Atlanta Ballet reaching the top of the pre professional division at 14 where she danced early afternoons through the late evenings daily while performing corp de ballet roles along side their company. Savannah studied summers with the Washington Ballet, Kirov Ballet Academy DC, American Ballet Theatre in NY, The Royal Ballet in Covent Garden London, Central Pennsylvania Ballet and English National Ballet. She moved away at 16 to further her training and went on to dance ballet professionally in NYC at 18 years old. (Her first professional role being the Sugar Plum Fairy!)

Teaching at Musical Arts of Dover

There were a handful of supportive, encouraging, creative, challenging teachers Savannah looked up to who inspired her and truly made such an impact on her life. She wanted to inspire and create and share her love for dance just like her teachers have and became a ballet teacher. She has loved teaching more than she ever thought she would. Savannah loves teaching all ages from little ones to adults!
