Load in crew Volunteers: Please arrive at 10:00am on Sunday 6/14 out in front of the building that says Paul Creative Arts Center on 30 Academic way.
All other Volunteers will check in when you arrive at the Johnson Theatre lobby/ front of house.
Ushers: Please arrive at 12:00pm for your training.
Backstage volunteers
Please arrive with your student 15 minutes before their Rehearsal Call Time to get situated, unless otherwise requested!
We will have a walkie talkie for the downstairs dressing room at all times (to be switched out as needed), and one for backstage in the wings. Our Stage Manager, Amalie, will also have a walkie talkie to let everyone know what is next.
We will assign you to either certain classes, or you will be in charge of quick changes for students in between numbers. If you are assigned to quick changes, we will let you know this on Saturday rehearsal, and give you a print out of when they occur.
For the rehearsal on Sunday prior to show, we will have students stay backstage in the wings when they arrive, so we will need help with doing some quiet group activities. If you have an extra blanket to bring for kids to sit on, that will make it cozy and comforting!
After each dance class finishes rehearsal, they will wait to be accompanied down the stairs to the dressing rooms, where they can relax until they are called back to stage for their performance. We will be trying to have groups come upstairs when they are 3 numbers away from performing.
Students with quick changes will have a folding screen changing area, and we will assign volunteers to those students.
